Yokohama Tyre, largest tyre manufacturing company has announced that their latest Geolandar product, the Geolandar CV G058, has been considered and announced as the 2020 GOOD DESIGN award-winner in the transportation category from The Chicago Athenaeum.
“We’re honored once again to earn a prestigious 2020 GOOD DESIGN award for one of our Yokohama Geolandar tyres,” Andrew Briggs, Yokohama’s vice president of marketing and product management. “In 2019, our extreme all-terrain Geolandar X-AT and the performance SUV/crossover Geolandar X-CV also received two GOOD DESIGN awards. Winning these awards is a true testament to our new product development.”
The H- and V-rated GEOLANDAR CV G058 is designed for crossovers and compact SUVs . The tyre is known for its ultimate performance in wet and winter conditions. The long-lasting G058 provides reliable all-season performance. It comes in 33 sizes, ranging from 16- to 20-inch tyre fitments. The tyre comes with Yokohama’s impressive 65,000-mile limited treadwear warranty.
According to The Chicago Athenaeum, the GOOD DESIGN awards program, which began in 1950, creates awareness about contemporary design and honours products and industry leaders in design and manufacturing that have chartered new directions for innovation and pushed the envelope for competitive products in the world marketplace.
