Hindustan Petroleum and TVS Eurogrip have collaborated to set up free tyre health check-up stalls on HP petrol pumps across several major cities from 9th to 29th Janurary, 2020.
The stalls have been set up in the following cities : Hyderabad, Cochin, Chennai, Vizag, Bangalore, Madurai, Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Bhopal, Nagpur, Vadodra, Raipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Kolkata.

The initiative by HP comes at the backdrop of recent revelations about the number of accidents caused by misfit and old tyres in India. A number believed to be as high as 12-13% of all automobile accidents in the Indian subcontinent. Similar initiatives have also being carried out by ATMA( Automobile Tyre Manufacturer Association) and RSDC (Rubber Skill Development Council) in the form of awareness campaigns and schemes to train tyre mechanics who have such knowledge.
