These 2020 Vitara Brezza Alloys Are Selling Like Hotcakes [Images]

Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the BS6-compliant Vitara Brezza petrol in India which comes with significant cosmetic upgrades to give the car a much needed lift in terms of aesthetics.

A part of these aesthetic changes also include new alloy wheel designs, although the difference between the old and the new designs is not that significant to say the least. Now since the alloys haven't been changed much, a lot of owners of the new Brezza are in the market for something fresh that can bring a bit of vibrance to the sides of the facelift as well.

So since there was so much buzz about the car and its alloys, we decided to dig deeper and searched for any alloys that were available for the new 2020 Vitara Brezza. And that, is precisely when we stumbled upon these two beauties from Monga tyres in Ludhiana.

1) Tuning Fork Alloys With A Red Underlip ( 6 spoked)

The first ones were these really nice silver coloured tuning fork alloys from Plati that had a glossy red underlip running behind them. These wheels come with an internal glossy ring or underlip as we call it that is present behind the wheel spokes. The underlip is a secondary lip of a different color that is visible behind the outer lip of the wheel. Its smaller in diameter than the outer lip but is much more thicker and prominent in appearance.

The new Brezza definitely lacks some oomph and aggressiveness in the sides and these Plati alloys do a wonderful job in making the car look much more aggressive and masculine. Definitely worth the paper if you want your to make your car more impressionable.

Talking about the tyres and the rim size, we can definitely tell you that these are upsized wheels and tyres and differ significantly from the stock size that come on the new 2020 Vitara Brezza. The stock rim size is an R16 while if you look closely you'll find that the above alloys are R18. So essentially, that is a plus two upsize that you're looking at. The tyres are also wider than the stock ones with 20mm of extra width which results in a slight protrusion as you can see.

2) Tuning Fork Alloys Without Underlip ( 5 spoked)

These were the second alloys that we spotted. Nice, elegant and shiny, these 5 spoked silver alloys look amazing with the white coloured Brezza. There is no underlip in these but they do have much thicker spokes that more than make up for the lack of the underlip.

These alloys are also upsized but not in terms of rim size but width. The wheel size is exactly the same as the stock at R16 while the width has been increased from 215 to 235 mm. Definitely noticeable as the tyres look visibly wider and more aggressive.

Again, a really elegant pair of alloys that provide the sides of the car with a touch of bling to transform it into a head turner.

More About The Car

The updated Brezza gets Maruti's tried and tested 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine along with a cosmetic upgrade for 2020, as mentioned earlier.

The 2020 model sports a fresh front-end with a wider chin and a mustache-shaped design detail below the chrome grille that extends to the front bumper. The fog lamp housings are also larger, and the turn indicators are near the headlight unit.

There's also a new chrome trim around the headlights, with large DRLs below.

The sides remain pretty much the same except the slight differences betwen the old and new alloy wheels. The rear, however, does look a lot more premium thanks to a redone bumper.
