Gamers must have heard about the 'Project Cars 3' which is the third iteration of one of the top games for PlayStation 4 in the world.
Project Cars 3 is a racing simulator which has been realistic but may not be anymore since it was confirmed that many features of the game such as tyre wear, pitstops and fuel consumption will not be present in the latest version. It was earlier mentioned by developers of Slightly Mad Studios that all the features will remain in the simulator and hence will keep the features that has been praised for a long time by fans who have grown to love this racing simulator.
Nick Pope, the Principal Vehicle Handling Designer said that by removing tyre wear and fuel consumption features, the developer were able to remove the pitstops which has resulted in the creation of closer feel and consistent racing. The reduction in such features has actually helped in providing an amazing experience and it was mentioned that the developers were able to focus on different aspects of racing, cars and upgrades.
Nick Pope further added that "It's not about a huge sweeping change to the overall game, it's more about keeping what was there for the people who loved it and helping more people along the way make those steps into sim racing."

The developer has stated officially that they are trying to bring an improved version of the game. However, the tyre wear features has been removed and they say it has resulted in the creation of a hardcore game which the fans will like. According to them, removing tyre wear, pitstops etc has been a proper decision. We can only find out whether the game provides better experience only on 28th August 2020.
