NEXEN TIRE, a prominent worldwide tyre producer, today announced that the Nexen N'FERA Sport tyre, in size 225/45R17 91W, will be standard equipment on the eighth-generation Volkswagen Golf and fourth-generation SEAT Leon. Since its introduction in 1979, Volkswagen's flagship model, the Golf, popularly known as the "Hot Hatch," has sold over 35 million cars. Meanwhile, the Leon is a popular hatchback model from the Spanish automaker SEAT, having sold over 2 million units since its introduction in 1999.
The N'FERA Sport is developed for European sports cars and provides exceptional performance and safety while driving at high speeds. This product, in particular, is distinguished by superb handling and braking performance, especially during abrupt stops.
The tyre has won a slew of awards and accolades, including first place in a summer tyre test from renowned German automotive magazine Auto Club Europa (ACE) Lenkrad.
Meanwhile, NEXEN TIRE continues to expand its OE supply in all European nations.
