Maxxis Tyres Aims To Expand Its Pan India Network By 5% In FY 2021-22

Maxxis India, one of the world's fastest-growing tyre companies, stated today that by the end of the current fiscal year, Maxxis expects to expand its dealer network by 5-7 per cent. During the epidemic in FY 2020-2021, the firm added over 800 dealerships, particularly to improve client accessibility and the Maxxis footprint in rural India.

The number of Maxxis dealerships in India has already surpassed 3000. Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Haryana are among the new dealers.

Commenting on the business plan, Mr. Chu Tsang Chih (Kurachi), Director, Maxxis India, said, "With our vision to achieve 15% of India’s two-wheeler tyre market by 2023, the expansion of dealerships is a significant step in this direction. As we move closer to achieve our target, we would like to enhance Maxxis Tyres pan India footprint by consolidating our current channel partners and adding more dealers in our portfolio. Our aim is to enhance Maxxis network to 5% by end of this fiscal, this will give us a filip in reaching out to our stakeholders across every noon and corner of the country. With current 3000 dealers, we aim to amplify our customer outreach and expect to maintain this momentum in future as well".

The Covid pandemic has caused several interruptions; yet, in the midst of the Covid epidemic, the expansion of the Maxxis dealer network is a significant step toward restoring optimism in the currently gloomy vehicle market. Maxxis is attempting to create at least one dealership in a community with a population of more than 30,000 people in order to build confidence and promote commercial growth.

The sub-company of Maxxis Group, Maxxis India (Maxxis Rubber India Private Limited) started its own arm of business in India in 2015 and has built its first manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat. The facility is spread across a massive 106 acres and has a capacity to produce around 20,000 tyres and 40,000 tubes per day. Maxxis currently serves as an OEM tyre supplier to Honda two-wheelers, Hero Moto Corp, Yamaha and Suzuki (Two-wheelers), Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Tata and Jeep in India.

Maxxis Rubber India has been selected as the original equipment tyre supplier to India's number one selling model, Honda Activa, since 2015. Maxxis is fast expanding its partner network and have built over 3000 dealer network so far in India.
