The Manufacturing Institute (MI) will honour two Goodyear associates and one Cooper Tire associate at the 2021 Science, Technology, Engineering and Production-STEP Ahead Awards gala in Washington, D.C. on November 4.
The STEP Ahead Awards honour women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and production who have excelled in their workplaces and communities. STEP Ahead Honorees include Shawn Donaldson, Cooper Tire R&D Manager, Composite Development, and Ronda Williams, Goodyear Regional Quality Manager. The STEP Ahead Emerging Leader award will be given to Ann Myers, a Goodyear Engineering Associate. The three colleagues are among 130 manufacturing sector professionals who have been nominated by their companies.
The STEP Ahead Awards is a chance for us to celebrate the success of exceptional women in our manufacturing business," said Rich Kramer, Goodyear Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President. “Shawn, Ronda and Ann have all demonstrated strong project leadership and engaged mentorship in their day-to-day roles and beyond. We're proud to see them honoured by the Manufacturing Institute."
