Following its return to the skies last year, the Goodyear Blimp will visit a slew of new locations and events in 2021. Following the first several visits, the Goodyear blimp will travel to one of Poland's largest cities, Wrocaw, passing through the Czech Republic's capital Prague on the way.
The Goodyear Blimp will fly over Wrocaw on July 31 and August 2, giving locals a rare view of one of the world's most famous aircrafts. On Sunday, August 1st, a live report from Goodyear Blimp's temporary airfield base in Szymanów, near Wrocaw, will be carried on TVN channel's Polish morning show "Dzie Dobry Wakacje."
The Blimp will travel over a number of cities on its trip to Wrocaw, including Memminger, Augsburg, Regensburg, and Pilsen (29 July), as well as Trutnov and Prague (30 July), allowing people of the Czech capital to see the legendary airship in the sky.

The Blimp is a Goodyear-branded Zeppelin NT semi-rigid airship that operates across Europe. This model is the world's largest of its sort right now. Since the 1910s, the tyre manufacturer's brand ambassador has been seen in the sky, providing once-in-a-lifetime experiences as well as coverage of key events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Malachy Tuohy, Head of Communications, Consumer Europe, said that “We can’t wait to welcome the Goodyear Blimp in its tour over Poland. What is more, flying over Prague on the way to its final destination will also allow Czechs to spot the iconic airship in the sky. It will be a fantastic opportunity to see the Goodyear Blimp over these great cities.”
