About the tyre:
The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A Baja Champion is indeed a champion since it has been specially designed to meet the quality and performance requirements of the cars developed by leading manufacturers. The tread design provides more rubber on the outside shoulder giving increased grip or traction while cornering and ultimate braking performance in dry conditions. The tyre compound reduces intra-molecular friction and aquaplaning resistance to withstand the extreme conditions in India.
The BFGoodrich tyres provide excellent stability while driving the 2020 Mahindra Thar on highways. The Tread pattern with larger outer shoulder helps in Precise steering control during lane-change. The stiffer rib and the specially optimized contact patch provides high precision steering.

The advanced compound contributes to longer tread life and confident handling even in wet and dry conditions. The tyre provides all- season performance thanks to the grooves and sipes that gives superior grip and traction.
The setup here is a little different. The aim was to create a muscular appearance of tyres which the rest of the vehicle evidently projects. The new tyres get 285 mm of width which is quite wider than the stock tyres that is sized- 255/65 R18.
