Falken Tyre has donated the Falken EUROALL SEASON AS210 tyre of the size 225/55R18 102V XL to Mitsubishi Motors in Germany to support Mitsubishi’s “Together against the coronavirus” project. Falken Tyre has donated 17 sets of Falken all-season tyres to Mitsubishi Motors.
Mitsubishi Motors has presented 17 Outlander plug-in Hybrid Vehicles for free to the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe mobile vaccination and testing teams in Germany as a part of the "Together against the coronavirus" project. Falken Tyre believes that it was high time they too did something to support the team which is fighting the pandemic and hence found this project as the perfect opportunity.
“We are exceptionally pleased to have been able to contribute to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic with our tyres,” said Markus Bögner, COO and President of Falken Tyre Europe GmbH, discussing the donation. “Last year, together with our partners Point S, we proved able to equip 40 standby vehicles of DRK-Hochtaunus with new tyres.”

“Besides the usual social distancing and hygiene rules, vaccination is our most effective tool in the fight against the global Coronavirus pandemic. We are pleased to be able to support Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe and its teams in this momentous task, which is so important for all of us,” explains Werner H. Frey, managing director of Mitsubishi Motors in Germany.

In addition to the necessary space, its lithium-ion battery and bidirectional charging capability also offers the possibility of power supply – both internally via the household sockets integrated in the vehicle, but also externally as a mobile power generator.”
