Not everybody likes to keep stuff clean, period. However, one thing which every motor enthusiasts love to do is to keep their motorcycles clean even if other things remain dirty. People who love anything with an engine would also love to spend time in the garages and hence it tends to become dirty with tyre marks on the wall, Oil on the floor etc. So we thought of suggesting some DIY methods to clean the tyre marks of the wall.
The following are the tips to clean tyre marks of the wall:
Use an eraser:

If the mark on the wall is finger sized then try to start cleaning with a clean- white eraser that is commonly used by artists. Try rubbing as gently as possible over the mark. Some people try rubbing with bread but that is not a nice way to do it even though it does the job. Using an eraser would be just fine and will remove most of the marks . Eraser can also be used to remove the marks on the wheel of your tyre but its better if you get a buffer since an eraser could take a lot of time.

Clean cloth dipped in hot water:

Now if the tyre mark on the wall is larger than your palm, then try cleaning the wall with a soft cloth which is dipped in hot water and rub gently on the surface of tyre mark. You could also spray hot water on the wall and then use the cloth to rub off the mark. Check every time you rub with the cloth to see whether you are not scuffing too hard since it could result the paint to peal off.
Use detergent soap:

While the detergent soap solution is a life saver in many cases, it could result in a chemical reaction if its used on wall papers so it is advised to check a small portion by spraying the soap solution to see if it is causing any damage. Detergent acts a de-greaser so it is useful in many situations to clean the tyre marks and dirt on the wall, door frames etc

Rub with alcohol solution:

Rubbing with Alcohol solution is similar to using soap solution. However, the effect of alcohol is double or maybe triple the times a soap solution creates hence it should be used carefully. Spray some alcohol solution onto the part where there is tyre mark and gently rub with a clean cloth preferably white in colour.
NOTE: Do not use scrubbers or sand paper to clean the surface of the wall as it can cause damage.
Hope these methods will help you bring back the glow of the paint that was there before the tyre marks appeared on the wall. Cheers!
