Leading tyre manufacturer, CEAT Tyres has announced their new partnership with Nissan Motor. CEAT tyres will be the OEM tyre supplier for the Japanese carmaker's subcompact SUV named the 'Nissan Magnite'.
The tyre manufacturer mentioned that the compact SUV market in India evidently has potential for growth in the upcoming years and CEAT has supreme quality products to offer for this segment since there is a potential market in the near-future.
"CEAT will be supplying the SecuraDrive range of tyres for all models of the Nissan Magnite. The Magnite launch would happen for five models," CEAT Tyres Ltd said.
The company claims its 'SecuraDrive' tyres to have been specially designed for the premium sedan segment and compact SUVs like the Nissan Magnite. The tyre company added that the performance of their tyre has been validated by Nissan Japan,
CEAT Tyres Chief Marketing Officer Amit Tolani said, "The compact SUV market is set to exponentially grow in India in the coming years and with SecuraDrive range, CEAT has best in class product offering in this segment. We are elated to announce our association with Nissan's new SUV Magnite as the OE fitment partner."
Nissan Motor India entered the highly competitive compact SUV segment in the country with the launch of Magnite at an introductory starting price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Nissan Magnite is equipped with both manual and automatic transmissions and will compete with the likes of Kia Sonet, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Honda WR-V.

The tread pattern ensures sufficient comfort and reduces the tyre noise resulting in a smooth ride.
The innovative tread compound and robust construction minimize tread wear and the tread pattern offers confident wet and dry grip performance. The deep grooves provide channelling of water away from the contact patch which results in maximum resistance to hydroplaning.
The tyre has the capability to withstand the stress of speed rating H (210 km/h) and V (240 km/h) to match the standards of premium sedans.
