On Oct. 22, Ovet Reynoso, who has over 478,000 followers on the social media platform, posted step-by-step instructions on how to fix a puncture on a tyre.

At the start of the video, Reynoso deliberately drills a screw into his tyre. This has been done to show through a TikTok video as to how a puncture can be easily fixed with few simple tips from him.

"If you have a nail in your tyre or your tire is leaking air, you can spray with some water or dish soap to see if it's leaking air," he says. "If it bubbles up just like that, then it's leaking air."

In the TikTok video, Reynoso heads to an AutoZone to pick up a tyre puncture kit, which normally costs somewhere around Rs.200 to Rs300.

"Next, you want to get the nail out," he says. "After you've gotten the nail out, you just want to poke at [the tyre with the spiral rasp]like this. Press the tool all the way in. Once it's all the way in, twist it to make the hole bigger."

In the TikTok Video, he says- "Find the hole, put the steel rasp and then you're just going to press down really hard. Once it’s all the way in like this, you’re going to pull it out, but don’t pull it out slowly. Go ahead and pull it out hard."

Reynoso then removes the steel rasp from the tyre. He then shows the string plug which is covering the hole. He then uses a small blade to remove the excess string.

Many viewers commented on the video to show their gratitude. We must say that Social media has proven to be one of the ways to learn and seek knowledge. This video is one such example of how useful social media has turned out to be in contemporary times.
