Bridgestone DUELER D684

The Dueler H/T D684 is a tyre designed for highway use. A modern tread pattern gives excellent handling stability and 'sedan-like' comfort even on a rough section of road. The tread pattern of the tyre is designed to reduce road noise and ultimately the noise that enters the cabin. The manufacturer claims that the tyres have the capability to reduce bumps on a bad section of the road thanks to its high strength construction. Bridgestone offers Dueler D684 in different tyre sizes. The smallest tyre size offered in this series is measured 215/65R16 which is suitable for vehicles such as the Mahindra bolero, Tata Sumo Gold etc. while the largest tyre offered by Bridgestone in this series is sized 265/60R18 which is suitable for vehicles such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Mercedes Benz G class etc. The deep grooves provide channeling of water away from the contact patch which results in maximum resistance to hydroplaning and improved handling in wet weather condition. The stability and the traction is enhanced thanks to the water channeling ability.
