Hero Xpulse 200 Rally Kit Tyres Explained [VIDEO]

Earlier this week, Hero MotoCorp announced the launch of a special rally kit for the Xpulse 200. This kit, priced at Rs 38,000, offers a lot of add-ons that helps the rider to get the most out of this adventure motorcycle. Here is a video explaining the Xpulse 200 Rally Kit tyres in more detail. The Rally Kit can be purchased by owners from any of the showrooms very soon. Infact, Hero MotorSports will be participating in the upcoming SJoba rally and the Xpulse 200 bikes will use the same kit. By the way, the models you see here are fitted with after-market exhausts but these are not part of the kit. So what exactly do you get?

For starters, the stock on-off tyres are replaced with these knobby ones that are made by Maxxis. The front one is 80mm wide and is fitted on the same 21 inch spoke rim. The rear is a 100mm wide tyre on an 18 inch spoke rim. As seen in the images, the tread pattern on the Xpulse 200 Rally Kit tyres makes these very good off the road where you need such designs to tackle sections that have mud, sand and slush.

Apart from the Maxxis off-road tyres, the Rally kit also offers altered and raised suspension at both the ends. This in turn increases the ground clearance. You also have a longer side stand, a longer gear lever to accommodate riding boots, risers for the handle bar and a new rally seat. All these additions truly make the Xpulse 200 a proper off-road motorcycle.
