Piccolo New Chairman Of E.T.R.T.O. Agriculture Sub-Committee

Denis Piccolo, Product Manager of BKT has been appointed as the Chairman of the agriculture sub-committee of E.T.R.T.O.

The European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation is also known to people as the E.T.R.T.O. It is an organisation which specialises in manufacturing tyres, valves and rims for all types of vehicles. The focus of this organisation is to create different sizes and dimensions of tyres so that it can cater equally to all products, thus, avoiding any kind of ambiguity.

As an industry giant, the organisation focuses on harmonising the technical sizes, different load index and create operational guidelines which are easily accessible to end-users so that they can choose a product which is up to their specification and need.

Denis Piccolo has been known and recognised several times for representing BKT at E.T.R.T.O for quite some time now and appointing him as the Chairman is a respectful gesture which Piccolo truly deserves. His commitment to agricultural tyre development and in matters such as safety regulation has showcased and proved his ability to take seat in the Chairman's office. “I am proud of being appointed” Denis Piccolo states, “I will fulfill my duty with utmost commitment.”

Denis Piccolo of BKT has the task of carefully considering and implementing new ideas regarding agricultural tyres on request from E.T.R.T.O. He has the task to consolidate this position and use the feedback method to study and understand agricultural tyre production. He is also responsible for the data published in the Technical Manual (Standard Manual) and in the Engineering Design Information, which contains the E.T.R.T.O.’s official indications on the agricultural sector.
