Nexen Tire America, Inc., a global leader in high-performance, passenger, SUV/light truck, and winter tyre technologies, announced today a three-year deal to be the Anaheim Ducks' and Honda Center's exclusive tyre. Nexen Tire has been granted category exclusivity, giving them the only tyre company to work with the Anaheim Ducks and Honda Center. More than 1.3 million Ducks fans across Southern California will see a variety of Nexen Tire branding for each of the team's regular-season and playoff home games, in addition to millions of television viewers in every major North American market.
In 2007, the Anaheim Ducks won their first Stanley Cup championship, making them the first team from California to win the sport's top prize. The Ducks have advanced to the Conference Finals five times (in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2015, and 2017) and twice to the Stanley Cup Final (2003 & 2007). Trevor Zegras (ninth overall in 2019), Brayden Tracey (29th overall in 2019), Jamie Drysdale (sixth overall in 2020), Jacob Perreault (27th overall in 2020), and Mason McTavish (ninth overall in 2020) are among the Ducks' five first-round picks from the last three NHL Drafts (third overall in 2021). The Western Conference has the most first-round picks with five.
