The new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE is equipped with Continental high-performance summer tyres as standard equipment. The SportContact 6 in 20 inches with special sidewall marking (MO1B) has been authorised, indicating that the tyre was designed exclusively for this vehicle. The SportContact 6 has already wowed the German vehicle magazines Auto Bild (235/35 R 19), Auto Bild sportscars (265/35 ZR 20), and sport auto (255/35 ZR 19 / 275/35 ZR 19) in tests this year.
Korbach, Germany produces the sporty premium tyre choice for the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE. It has unique force vectoring technology for great steering precision, as well as the Black Chili compound, which is custom-made for the vehicle to ensure the best possible tire-to-road surface contact. In low and high temperatures, as well as in wet and dry weather, it also allows for shorter braking distances and faster acceleration.
The four-door model, which will make its public debut at the IAA exhibition in Munich in 2021, is a very powerful plug-in hybrid. The AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo is joined beneath its skin by an electric motor developed specifically for AMG and a high-performance battery that is ultra-light and directly cooled. The vehicle ensures optimal driving performance and pleasure with a system output of 470 kW plus 150 kW (639 hp + 204 hp) and a maximum torque of 1.470 Nm.
