The 390 Adventure launched recently will get Metzeler Tourance tyres with a 100/90-19 tyre at the front and a 130/80-17 tyre at the rear as standard. The bike gets the same 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel combo as seen in the international model. The Metzeler Tourance is a dual purpose tyre developed and tuned for the big, modern, street oriented Enduro motorcycles that are built for both enduro and street action. Here's some more detail about the tyres:

Metzeler Tourance

Durability

The tyres sport a thick groove depth in tandem with an advanced compound having carbon black, silica and the latest generation of resins. The combination guarantees high fuel efficiency along with durability, offering very good grip in both wet and dry conditions

Stability

The TOURANCE has a 0° belted structure on radial rear sizes along with a lightweight carcass that promotes stability and road holding even at high speeds. The carcass helps in distributing forces uniformly to the road and optimizing the contact patch in every condition.
The steel cords use the MAW patented technology and are winded with differentiated spacing - wider in the crown area for high elasticity and self damping, closer in the mid lean for improved stiffness when cornering.
Using the patented MBS technology, all radial front tyres are also equipped with a diagonal belt for enhanced cornering and high-speed stability.

Tread Pattern

The tread pattern design of the TOURANCE has been developed for dual purpose keeping in mind the bike's frequent street application along with off-roading which is exactly what an Enduro Street is for.
Strong tread blocks in the crown area ensure a compact rubber zone exactly in the contact patch. It allows the tyre to directly transmit full torque from the engine to the road for maximum traction and ensures a homogeneous and light rolling noise.
The grooves between the blocks of the tread pattern are also designed such that water dissipation becomes much easier to avoid aquaplaning. The increasing and varying width between the blocks help in the dissipation immensely.

More About The Bike

The adventure 390 was first unveiled at EICMA 2019 and the India-spec 390 debuted at India Bike Week last month. There are few tiny tweaks that have been made to the International spec for it to be converted to the desi spec.

Front Suspension duties on the Indian 390 are carried out by a 43mm USD fork non-adjustable unit while the international bike offers compression and rebound adjustability. The rear monoshock on the Indian 390, however, can be adjusted for pre-load and rebound. The wheel travel is more as compared to the Duke 390 with the Adventure getting 170mm/177mm (front/rear) compared to the 142mm/150mm on the Duke. The bike also comes with a switchable traction control and a bi-directional quick-shifter as standard.

The other specs are exactly the same as the international model. The same 373.2cc, single-cylinder engine is used that also powers the Duke 390, which churns out a peak power of 44hp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. The KTM 390 Adventure marks KTM's first BS-6 compliant motorcycle.

The 390 Adventure costs Rs 51,000 more than its naked sibling at 2.99 lakh, however, it is still significantly cheaper than its rivals - the BMW G 310 GS (Rs 3.49 lakh) and the Kawasaki Versys X 300 (Rs 4.69 lakh).
