Force showcased the new BS6 version of their SUV -- the Gurkha at the Auto Expo 2020, a vehicle that has undergone a massive transformation from its predecessor and is now based on a completely new platform called the T1N.
The new Gurkha was certainly impressive but there was another Gurkha nearby that once unveiled became the apple of photographers eyes. This was the modified "monster" version of the new BS6 Gurkha that was displayed by Force at the Autp Expo. The entire reason behind the sheer size of this Gurkha? The 34 inch Maxxis tyres and the substantially lifted suspension that Force had installed. Further adding to the sheer bulk and size of the vehicle were roll bars that support a big roof carrier, side glass protection and a pair of extra driving lights.
The modified version of the Gurkha truly gave us an insight into what the SUV could look like if you decide to get a tad bit crazy. With the added height and sheer volume of the tyres, the Gurkha was transformed into a true spectacle.
The new Gurkha is accompanied by plenty of cosmetic changes along with the latest electronics including touchscreens with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay being included in the car. The SUV also gets a differential lock on the front and the rear axle helping it stand out against the other 4x4 off roaders in the market. Safety has also gone up with two airbags being included in the vehicle.
The butch SUV now receives a BS-VI compliant 2.6-litre diesel engine which is capable of producing 90 hp of power and 218Nm of peak torque. It has a seating capacity of 6 people with 500-litre boot space.

The modified version will probably never make it to the Indian market however the company did say that the normal version of the BS6 SUV will be available in the Indian market starting April although the company refused to hint about the price tag it would carry. Watch the video below:
