Hankook Tire, a global leader in tyre technology, will outfit the latest Porsche Panamera with its innovative Ultra-Ultra-High-Performance (UUHP) tread. The Ventus S1 evo Z tyres are used in sizes 265/45 ZR19 105Y XL ND0 for the front axle and 295/40 ZR19 108Y XL ND0 for the rear axle, or 275/40 ZR20 (106Y) XL ND0 for the front and 315/35 ZR20 (110Y) XL ND0 for the rear axle, depending on the model or the customer's desire. In addition to the standard release tests for this vehicle segment, the Porsche Panamera's mixed tyres were put through thorough testing at top speeds on the famed German Nürburgring Nordschleife racetrack, commonly known as the Green Hell.

The Hankook Ventus S1 evo Z was created primarily for the high-end automobile category, which is notoriously difficult to satisfy. It has a double-layer carcass made of an aramide composite material, which avoids deformations induced by heat generation. Tyre deformation can result in an unwelcome increase in the rolling circumference, as well as less precise driving at high speeds. Aramide fibres are highly heat resistant and have great strength, strong damping qualities, and are reasonably lightweight. The new Hankook tread is more stable thanks to high-strength steel in the belt and bead sections.

"These tyres will support excellent dynamics and comfort of the Porsche Panamera, allowing drivers and passengers to travel as comfortably as possible."

For the Ventus S1 evo Z, the team also focused on providing good grip in a variety of weather conditions. To guarantee optimal interaction between fillers, silica, and natural resins, it used a tread composition similar to that used in racing tyres. The compound contains the most up-to-date functional polymers, allowing for consistent high grip in a wide range of applications. Hankook's racing tyre development technique, which uses lower production volumes and material batches, was also utilised in the manufacturing process. These are processed over a long period of time to preserve the materials utilised in the compound.
