The Ford EcoSport is a good looking compact, sub 4m SUV. The recent models come with better-looking alloys and those opting for the Signature or S variants have a grin plastered on their face for the design of the wheels. However, there are owners who want to go a step ahead and increase aesthetic appeal. One such example for Ford EcoSport alloys is right here. This seems to be a pre-facelift model but yet, looks badass, eh?
We found these onChakra India'sInstagram page and had only one word for it - bling! The black colour of the EcoSport further adds to the gangster looks. The alloy wheels first - these are 17-inch Infinity Wheels that will set you back by about 34000-35000 for a set of four. This design is currently only available in a size of 17" and are suited for light or mid weight offerings in India. They have a 4-hole fitment and for the EcoSpot, custom made PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) adapters were used. The black polished finish does look good in our opinion.
For these Ford Ecosport alloys, Chakra Wheels used Momo tires of size 225/50 R17 that cost about Rs 8500 a piece. These are low profile tyres and the side wall is narrow enough to get damaged on broken roads. That said, the outcome does look solid. The set-up also gets 'WePro' anti-theft lug nuts in red chrome finish as the icing on the cake. Do note that the stock EcoSport comes 195/65 R15 tyres for the lower variant and 205/60 R16 tyres for the higher trims.
While these Ford EcoSport alloys do look bling, do remember that you stand to void the warranty in most cases. Also, ride and handling will differ as compared to a stock car. In this case, due to a narrow side wall, the ride quality will become firm and the owner will have to be careful of broken roads. Do you have a set-up on your car as well?
