Starting this season, Falken will be the premium partner of B V Borussia Bocholt 1960 e.V., the first women's team, expanding the company's commitment to regional football. The club's successful women's team, managed by Sammy Messalkhi, was promoted to German Women's Federal League 2 in the 2019/2020 season.
The Falken emblem will be featured on the club's website as well as 1.5 x 4.8-metre advertising hoardings behind the substitutes' benches at the club's stadium, "In der Hardt," in Bocholt, Westphalia. The collaboration was initially planned for one year with cooperation partner Bleker Autoteile GmbH from Borken, one of the major suppliers of genuine automobile spare parts in Germany and the Netherlands.

"As pioneers in women’s football for the whole region, we need strong partners such as Falken Tyres. It is this kind of support that enables us to put equality and the promotion of women into practice. After all, women’s football shouldn’t just be a niche area in a popular sport. The team started the season by making history: their match in the women’s DFB Cup tournament against Borussia Mönchengladbach, which the Bocholt women’s team won 4:0, was broadcast on pay TV – the first time that a women’s cup match has ever been shown on pay TV.
