Falken's first tyre with integrated tyre sealant technology, that seals punctures quickly and reduces the chance of a flat tyre, will be available next month. CORESEAL, which is currently available in two sizes of Falken's all-season EUROALL SEASON AS210 pattern, reduces air pressure loss due to punctures by automatically sealing any punctures up to five millimetres in the tread surface, providing drivers with convenience, cost, and safety.
On the inner lining of the tyre, Falken's CORESEAL technology uses a layer of highly sticky, yet viscous sealant. If the tyre is punctured, the sealant seeps into the hole automatically, preventing additional air pressure loss. CORESEAL protects you from the inconvenience and dangers of a puncture.
"CORESEAL is a simple solution to a disruptive problem," says Andreas Giese, senior manager corporate planning/product planning at Falken Tyre Europe. "Now you no longer have to change a tyre or wait for roadside assistance, you can simply continue your journey. CORESEAL is a significant step in making tyres smarter and more efficient."
On sale in Germany from July 2021, Falken will initially offer 235/55R18 104V XL followed by the 225/50R17 98V XL all-season EUROALL SEASON AS210.

With its CORESEAL tyres, Falken recommends using a tyre pressure monitoring system, and recommends that any type of puncture should be checked by a tyre professional.
