Coronation Street Stars have "nail-in-tyre" problem. Yes, you have heard it right! The famous Coronation Street stars have been facing costly tyre repairs since the nails on road puncture their car tyres.
The set-building on the famous ITV soap quite regularly sends a bunch of nails into the path of stars driving into the set for the shoot.
Tony Maudsley, 52, who plays the role of George Shuttleworth, took to Twitter to complain about the Coronation Street nail-in-tyre problem.
He joked that a "nasty gremlin" was after him, until the day when a Corrie staffer pointed out the real reason for his multiple visits to the nearest tyre shop.
"How do I keep getting nails in the same tyre?? ANOTHER £160 down the drain I'm convinced some nasty gremlin is chasing me about town with a hammer and a toolbox!!" Tony wrote on Twitter.

Intrestingly, Corrie's location manager Noami Sloyan cleared things up for him, by replying to him.
"From the car park at Corrie. So much set construction using nails and screws, they are everywhere. Common problem and a pain in the a**e," she replied adding laughing emojis.
Later Tony joked that he'll have to "get a couple of brooms fitted to my front bumper!"
Tony had made his debut on the show after playing the role of a hairstylist named Kenneth DuBeke on Benidorm. His fans will always remember him as the hairstylist named Kenneth in Benidorm. He took up this role many years ago, in the year 2011. Maudsley's career kick-started when he first received a role in the film named A Life for a Life 1998. He played the role of a guy named Stefan Kiszko. Tony has starred in many TV shows including Doc Martin, Miss Marple and Ordinary Lives.
He has also appeared in many films including Sleepy Hollow where he played Van Ripper and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, playing Grawp, Hagrid's giant brother.
