Check Out 5 Concept Tyres Which Will Blow Your Mind

As cars evolve into state-of-the-art designs which are aspired by auto enthusiasts around the world, the tyres as an important component of the vehicle also takes shape into a more futuristic component that has special or unique elements in construction. These tyres are called concept tyres and they are super expensive and limited, perhaps not meant for production in the near future.

However, concept tyres are made for the future which can someday become a normal component that can be seen on every vehicle like the traditional tyres we use today.

The following are the 5 unique concept tyres which will blow your mind:

The energy generating tyre:

In 2015 Goodyear which is known as a tyre giant unveiled BH03 concept tyre which quickly got noticed in the auto world. The tyre generates electricity with the help of materials in the tyres and transforms the energy that is created by heat, when the tyre flexes as it rolls while driving in normal conditions.

The manufacturer could be focusing on the electric vehicles by supporting their capabilities in generating energy and rolling resistance. After the hype, this concept disappeared and there were no updates regarding the concept and its further development. We hope that Goodyear will update this fantastic product.

According to Hankook, iFlex has gone through a series of tests designed to push the tyres to its absolute limits. It functioned well in the tests that focused on durability, speed, hardness and stability. The speed test revealed the actual potential of the iFlex since the vehicle mounted with iFlex reached speeds upto 130Km/h.

3D printed ultra-connected bio-sourced concept:

Michelin's Vision concept includes different advancements. The Tyre is Dubbed 'Tweel' has been 3D printed with bio-sourced materials which mimics the natural cellular structures. The tyre has smart communication system with its user and is also rechargeable.

The tread automatically adjusts to the driving conditions so there is no need to worry about the types of tyres for different weather conditions. It has a tread which can be replenished without the wastage of resources, money or time. The 'Tweel' is environmental friendly too.

The moss-covered tyre:

Goodyear claims that their concept tyre debuted as 'Oxygene' uses photosynthesis to absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen.

According to Chris Delaney, President of Goodyear, this is one of the best ways to contribute to a cleaner air generation. The tyre helps enhance quality of life and health for dwellers in city.

The tyre is equipped with living moss growing within the sidewall. The eco friendly tyre absorbs moisture from the road and uses the power generated from photosynthesis to power the artificial intelligence electronics.

Spherical artificial intelligence tyres:

Its Goodyear once again folks. Goodyear's research and development team comes again with a new innovative tyre concept. It was unveiled in Geneva and debuted as the 'Eagle 360 Urban' and would be the first tyre to be powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) or a brain. The tyre is a uniquely designed spherical design which is equipped with technologically advanced features that would allow to sense, make decisions, and interact.
