CEAT tyres announced that the company is going to involve in the personal protective equipment (PPE) segment with the launch of anti-pollution S95 mask- GoSafe amid increase in the COVID-19 pandemic cases in the country.
The mask features a six-layered washable material which can be reused. The masks are priced at Rs.249 per unit and are available across all the 'CEAT Shoppe' branded stores and also on e-commerce websites.
The tyre maker stated in the release that the company has introduced the GoSafe S95 face mask to help India stay safe from the COVID-19 Pandemic crisis. The company has announced its engagement in the PPE business considering their commitment to safety.

Amit Tolan, Chief Marketing Officer at CEAT tyres said that the objective of the company to foray into the PPE business is done to create reliable and safe products like the face masks, to protect the people especially during this period when the whole world is battling the corona virus pandemic.
He further added that it is in these unusual times that personal safety and hygiene are a real concern.
Tolani also mentioned that the company will be soon introducing more products under its GoSafe belt and expand the existing range of mask to play an active part in the battle against COVID-19 pandemic. The GoSafe S95 masks come with impressive six-layered filter protection and the innermost fabric layer is said to be soft and anti- bacterial. The next three layers consists of small particle filters and provide microbe protection. The outermost mesh protects from contaminants or particles.
The mask contains an adjustable nose clip which makes them breathable and splash or droplet resistant thus ensuring safety and comfort. The masks are designed for everybody and can be washed and reused 30 times according to CEAT.
