Bridgestone Corporation (Bridgestone), one of the largest tyre and rubber companies in the world revealed that 2020 will mark its first year ever for participation in the CES ( consumer Electronics Show) to be held on 7th January, 2020 in Las Vegas. The company plans to showcase a plethora of mobility solutions and eye catching innovations, all of them focusing mainly on extended mobility, improved safety and increased efficiency.

Bridgestone will feature multiple cutting-edge mobility solutions at CES, including:
- Bridgestone Airless Tyres for Extended Mobility - With almost 90 years of experience in pioneering product innovation, Bridgestone has always tried to build tyres that enable safe, uninterrupted mobility. At CES, Bridgestone plans to showcase the airless tyres in its portfolio, including concepts and prototypes for personal mobility as well as commercial fleet applications. These airless tyres from Bridgestone will showcase the amalgamation of a tyre tread and a wheel into a single durable and high strength unit. This design eliminates the need for tyres to be filled and maintained with air, and essentially erases the disadvantages associated with air filled tyres.
- Bridgestone also will showcase an airless, elastic tyre and wheel solution for a lunar rover currently being developed for an international space exploration mission.

- re Technology for Improved Safety - A major barrier to autonomous driving is the lack of control over the vehicle's tyres and their contact with the road. Bridgestone has succesfully developed tech that utilises sensors and algorithms that give real time data to the user that help monitor the tyres of the vehicle. Labelled as the connected tyre technology, Bridgestone at CES plans to demonstrate how the technology can be used to generate specific, actionable predictions that can enhance the precision of vehicle safety systems.
