Bridgestone India has appointed Rohit Mathur as the Head- Business Strategy & Project Management Office to provide strategies for the the organization to develop and capitalize business opportunities. Mathur is responsible for the organization to enter into new markets considering diversification of consumers and gaining an additional market share.
Rohit Mathur has Bachelors degree in Science as well as Post Graduate degree from IIM Lucknow. He comes with 15+ years of experience in multi-regional business management, product marketing & strategy consulting experience across retail and consumer goods vertical. He brings in blend of working in mature as well as emerging markets like USA, India, UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.

Throughout his career, Rohith Mathur has picked up many struggling segments to profitability by improving the products and by optimizing the cost. He has developed strategies and proved his exceptional abilities in implementing the strategies for the launch of new line of products, segmentation, retail, pricing, marketing etc. He was previously associated with Samsung Electronics as General Manager - Consumer Electronics Retail where he managed a hybrid role comprising product management and backend sales. His role involved providing insights to enter/invest into new markets to increase retail foot print & performance with newer products.
