Atturo Trail Blade BOSS To Run In The Toughest Off-Road Race

Atturo Tyre has confirmed that five Ultra4 race car drivers will be riding on its Trail Blade BOSS tyres at the 2021 King of the Hammers which is an off-road race that is to be conducted on Feb 1-6.

Atturo claims that their off-road Trail Blade BOSS is a rugged tyre that features a heavy-duty tread which has been inspired by the BOSS HOG knife. Officials stated that the King of the Hammers covers around 342 km of southern California's most punishing desert terrain. It is said that race will also include challenging rock-crawling trail.

During the 2020 King of the Hammers, 55 percent of the participants didn't even finish the race. But Ultra4 driver Edwin Abd did, completing the grueling course on a single set of Trail Blade BOSS tyres - with zero tyre failures.

"The King of the Hammers is designed to push man and machine to their breaking point, and only a handful of tyre brands even attempt the race," says Atturo Tyre Marketing Manager Joe Gomez. "But during the 2020 King of the Hammers, our Trail Blade BOSS dominated the course. We're very proud of what Edwin Abd accomplished using the same BOSS tyres available to consumers - and we're excited to see how the tyre performs for drivers in this year's race."
