Ather Energy is one among the country's premium electric scooter segment which has been catering precisely to the needs of the people which has led to a huge fan base for this scooter throughout the nation. Ather Energy is a Bangalore-based EV manufacturing company which is known to bring up regular updates through the feature named over-the-air (OTA) update.
The company's best seller product named Ather 450X smart electric scooter has been introduced with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) which is said to be produced as an accessory from the month of October 2020. The company also plans to present a smart helmet which will also go for sale from the month of October this year.
According to one of the sources, Swapnil Jain, co-founder and Chief technology officer, Ather Energy stated that the Tyre pressure monitoring system will be introduced as an accessory for the 450X in the month of October this year. The smart helmet will use the Ather 450X's connected technology which will be brought in the market soon.
The smart helmet is still behind the curtains and has not been reveled but it is likely that Ather Energy will be collaborating with a leading helmet manufacturer. One can expect features such as a heads up display which shows important information that includes navigation, speed, charge in the battery pack etc. The device is expected to be revealed shortly in this financial year. The details on the price has not yet been revealed and one can expect it to be "not so cheap."

It has been found that Ather's engineers are working on the tyre pressure monitoring system. One could expect the tyre pressure alert system, details of each of dual tyre by directly measuring its internal pressure. In addition to the mentioned features there are chances that the TPMS could also detect whether the vehicle is moving or at rest. As of now, there is no much details regarding the TPMS but we expect these features to be present with the TPMS technology that they are going to showcase in the near future.
The Ather 450X is currently the best electric scooter in the Indian market considering the performance and features that the vehicle consists. The look of the vehicle is futuristic and Ather Energy has been providing better technology since the time when the products were introduced by the company.
