Talking here fr our local markets, low profile tyres will give a rough and rocky ride in rural areas. Even with the potholes and uneven roads in the city, these type of tyres are best to be avoided.
2. More Noise - Since most low profile tyres have an increased width, there is more noise.
3. Cost - These tyres are costlier than the normal stock tyres.
4. Low fuel efficiency - If you are someone who is mileage conscious then these tyres are a big NO from us. The fuel economy is compromised by a bit!
5. Easily damageable - Both the tyre and rim are prone to potholes or uneven roads when one goes for these tyres. Since these tyres have smaller air cushion so they don’t easily absorb the harsh impacts from bad roads.
