The 2020 Jawa's most anticipated motorcycle named the Perak will be fitted with CEAT Zoom Cruz tyres. The motorcycle will be fitted with tyres sized 100/90 R18 at the front and 140/70 R17 at the rear, as confirmed by the leading tyre manufacturer- CEAT.
CEAT Tyres has partnered with Jawa Motorcycles as the new tyre supplier for the bobber motorcycle named Perak.
CEAT Zoom Cruz tyre has been said to be co-developed by CEAT and Jawa motorcycles and is specially designed for the Perak. Deliveries of the bobber motorcycle has been commenced this year and with the new set of tyres, the Perak is said to perform better in different conditions.
According to CEAT and Jawa, the new tyres are expected to provide good ride quality and handling even at high speeds.

What to expect:
CEAT Zoom Cruz tyres could provide good amount of resistance towards aquaplaning as the deep grooves could disperse the water away from the contact patch. The width of the tyres seems to be in correct ratio and could possibly provide better traction. The rear tyre section is wide and the aspect ratio seems to be good while considering the kerb weight of the bike. The continuous strip of deep groove in the centre of the tyre surface could mean better handling at high speeds.
The motorcycle was launched in the month of November last year, deliveries for the Jawa Perak began in July 2020 which was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The first bike was delivered to a customer in Hyderabad.
