QA Engineer (Automation & Manual Testing)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing and executing test plans, writing automated scripts, and conducting thorough manual testing. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in the eCommerce and B2B space while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Perform regression testing, functional testing, UI/UX testing, API testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Ensure that all manual and automated tests meet the acceptance criteria for each release.
• Identify, document, and track software defects in JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Ensure proper coverage of test scenarios by collaborating with the development and business teams.
• Provide feedback on product design, helping to ensure features are testable and reliable.
• Execute performance testing and load testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure scalability.
• Stay updated on the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices, and bring improvements to the testing process.

Key Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with expertise in both manual and automation testing.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing on web-based and mobile applications (iOS & Android).
• Proficiency in writing automated test scripts in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC), defect life cycle (DLC), and agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and source control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of database testing and experience writing basic SQL queries is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS for testing purposes.
• Experience in performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter.
• ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
