(BSRO), a Bridgestone Americas subsidiary with the world's biggest network of company-owned tyre and automotive service facilities announced that it will open 28 new shops in 16 states in the first half of 2021 as part of the company's continuous expansion strategy. By the end of this year, BSRO intends to open 27 new locations.
“Amid the challenges brought forward by the COVID-19 pandemic, we were laser-focused on accomplishing our retail expansion goals while ensuring first and foremost that our teammates and customers remained safe,” said Marko Ibrahim, President, Bridgestone Retail Operations. “Thanks to the dedication of our team, we are providing more customers than ever before with trusted tyre and automotive service, and we look forward to reaching more communities before year’s end.”
Under the brands Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, Hibdon Tires Plus, and Wheel Works, BSRO has over 2,200 retail locations in the United States. More than 250 jobs have been created as a result of the new facilities, which include six new locations in Texas and four in Florida. For faster and better auto repairs and a comprehensive customer experience, the locations incorporate the latest automotive technology and equipment run by ASE certified experts. Used tyres taken from service at each of the new locations will have a positive future use as part of the Bridgestone Tires4Ward recycling initiative, maximising the company's contribution to a circular economy.

In addition to all this, Bridgestone's national Driving Great Futures collaboration with Boys & Girls Clubs of America is also supported by the new outlets. Customer donations and colleague volunteers continue to aid local Boys & Girls Clubs with transportation needs, as well as crucial services for children and teens battling food insecurity and digital barriers.
